Adjusting the Focus

When handling the lens, make sure to keep it free from dust
and fingerprints.
Iris ring
Focus lock ring
Lens

Turn the iris ring of the lens to open as far as it will go.

Turn the focus lock ring of the camera head unit
backward until it stops.

While checking the picture on the monitor screen, turn
the lens forward to focus on the subject.

Tighten the focus lock ring to lock the lens.
Notes
• When adjusting the focus, make sure to turn the iris ring of
the lens to open completely; otherwise, if you readjust the
iris ring after focusing, the picture may blurr.
• When adjusting the focus, be careful not to drop the lens
out of the camera head unit.
