System limitations
There are some system limitations of the linear PCM recorder. The following issues are
not malfunctions.
You cannot record files up to the maximum recording time.
If you record files in a mixture of the recording modes, the recordable time varies
between the maximum recording time of the highest recording mode and that of the
lowest recording mode.
The sum of the number on the counter (elapsed recording time) and the remaining
available recording time may be less than the linear PCM recorder's maximum
recording time.
You cannot display or play back music files in order.
If you have transferred music files from your computer, those files may not be transferred
in the same order due to system limitations. You can display and play back the music files
in transferred order by transferring music files individually from the computer to the linear
PCM recorder.
A file is divided automatically.
The file being recorded has reached the maximum size limit (2 GB for an LPCM/DSD file,
and 1 GB for an MP3 file). Therefore, it is automatically divided.
You cannot enter lowercase characters.
