S-Video
Connecting using the S-Video cable guarantees very good playback
quality.
Only video signals are transmitted using S-Video.
1. Plug the S-Video connector into the jack on the right side of the
device.
2. Plug the S-Video connector into the corresponding jack on your
playback unit.
NOTE:
In DVD or USB mode you can turn off the internal speaker sound.
To do so, keep the MUTE button (Fig. 2/21) pressed for around 3 sec
during playback. Keep the button pressed again to turn on the sound
back on.
You can choose between two submission methods for sound signals.
You must generally choose first whether you would like to have the
sound coming from your TV, or through a Stereo Amplifier. The Audio
cable must then be connected to the TV or an amplifier accordingly.
NOTE:
If your amplifier is equipped with a digital output, you should use the
amplifier. You will experience a much better audio quality, and the
installation is much easier.
Stereo
Connect the two audio cables for the right and left-hand audio channel
to your playback device or your amplifier.
1. Insert the audio plug into the jack on the right side of the device.
2. Plug the Audio jacks into the corresponding sockets on your play-
back device or your amplifier.
NOTE:
Use the VOLUME +/- buttons (Fig. 2/19) to adjust the volume to a
comfortable and safe level. If the volume has been reduced to "00" no
sound will be broadcast.
