9.2.3.1 Allgemeines
Verwendung
Externe c-Module dienen der Kommunikation des Lei-
stungsschalters SENTRON WL mit Sekundärgeräten im Leistungs-
schalterfeld. Mit ihrer Hilfe lassen sich z. B. Analoganzeigen
ansteuern, Auslösestatus und Auslösegrund des Leistungsschal-
ters übertragen und zusätzliche Steuersignale einlesen. Mit Hilfe
eines dieser Module kann des weiteren eine zeitverkürzte Selektivi-
tätssteuerung für den Kurzschlussschutz realisiert werden.

Montage
Die externen
-Module werden im Schaltfeld auf eine
c
standardmäßige 35 mm-Hutschiene aufgeschnappt. Dabei ist zu
beachten, dass die Länge der Anschlussleitung des ersten Moduls
zum Leistungsschalter maximal 2 m beträgt.
Verbindungsaufbau
Für die Verbindung der
c
Leistungsschalter sind ausschließlich die mitgelieferten vorkonfek-
tionierten Leitungen zu verwenden. Über diese Leitungen erfolgt
auch die Spannungsversorgung der
24 V DC. Werden mehr als 2
muss die Versorgung mir 24 V DC über eine separate Leitungsver-
bindung von Modul zu Modul erfolgen.
Hinweis
Ggf. fehlende Hilfsstromanschlüsse nachrüsten (Messerleiste,
Hilfsstromstecker, Schleifkontaktmodul für Einschubrahmen).

9.2.3.1 General
Application
External c-modules are used for communication bet-
ween the circuit breaker SENTRON WL and the secondary equip-
ment in the circuit breaker panel. They are provided to control
analog indications, transmit the circuit breaker tripping status and
the tripping reason, and to read additional control signals. Further-
more, with one of these modules it is possible to implement a zone
selective interlocking for short-circuit protection.

Installation
The external c-modules are snapped onto a standard
35-mm DIN-rail inside the switchgear panel. It must be ensured that
the length of the connecting cable of the first module to the circuit
breaker does not exceed 2 m.
Connection setup
The c modules must only be connected to each other
and to the circuit breaker using the pre-assembled cables supplied.
These cables are also used for the 24 V DC voltage supply of the
c-modules. If more than two c modules are
connected, the 24 V DC voltage supply must be fed via a separate
cable from module to module.
Note
If necessary missing auxiliary terminals may be retrofitted
(receptacle, auxiliary connectors and sliding contact module for
guide frames).
