Location and Function of Parts
CONTROL key
Pressing this key makes no effect when no error
occurs.
If errors should occur, pressing this key displays the
errors, one by one.
Pressing the RECOVER key while holding down this
key set the Flexicart to test mode. "TEST-
appears in the display window.
Refer to the Maintenance Manual for details of test mode.
CLEAR key
Clears the error message in the display window when
the error is not fatal. "IN USE" appears when you
clear an error message. Fatal errors are those errors
which you prevent subsequent use of the Flexicart.
If the error is fatal, this key cannot clear the message
for as long as the error cause is not removed.
INITIAL key
Initializes the elevator. (Does not reset the Flexicart
control software.)
"INITIAL" appears in the display window during
initialization. "IN USE" appears once initialization
has finished.
RECOVER key
Restores the Flexicart operation under the following
conditions:
• after removing the cause of an error when the
Flexicart suffers
• after pressing the EMERGENCY STOP key to stop
the Flexicart
Pressing this key while holding down the CONTROL
key sets the Flexicart to test mode.
"TEST-
" appears in the display window during test

mode.

EMERGENCY STOP key
Press this key to stop the Flexicart if an error should
occur in the elevator. Do not use this key during
normal operations.
Pressing this key stops the elevator immediately. The
Flexicart returns "abnormal end" for all received
commands. "EMG STOP" appears in the display
"
window.

Press the RECOVER key to restore normal status to
the Flexicart.
Note
Do not leave cassettes in the cassette slots when they
can only be ejected from the VTR manually. Failing
to do so may result in problems.
7 Bin lamps
The meaning of the bin lamps depends on the
application software.
