Cs 470 head assembly removal I need to replace it and have the new part but I can’t get the old one off. The diagrams show a large screw to screw new piece on but I don’t have that

To remove the head assembly on a Cub Cadet CS470, you need to remove the bolt connecting the head to the shaft/lower boom. However, there is no built-in way to lock the driveshaft, which can make removal difficult. You may need to find a method to hold the shaft in place manually or use a tool to prevent it from turning while loosening the bolt.   • Page 10 USING THE RIGHT FUEL The use of old fuel is the most common cause of performance problems. Use only fresh, clean unleaded gasoline. NOTE: This unit has a four-cycle engine. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline. Definition of Blended Fuels Today's fuels are often a blend of gasoline and oxygenates such as ethanol, methanol or MTBE (ether).

    STARTING AND STOPPING WARNING: On/Off Switch Operate this unit only in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Carbon monoxide exhaust fumes can be (I = On / O = Off) lethal in a confined area.
