Prior to filling the reservoir, turn the device off, then remove the lid and pour the
required amount of water.
To pour water from the device, pull the spigot handle forward and pour until the
container is filled. Release the spigot handle, and it will close automatically.
Check the quantity of water in the reservoir and add more if necessary.

Check the water level regularly. Never turn on the device without water!
WARNING! Hot surface! Danger of burns!
When the device is in use, its surface gets as hot as the temperature of the water!
Do not touch the hot surface of the device!
If the device is not in use, turn the temperature dial all the way to the left and remove
the plug from its socket.
Leave remaining water to cool and pour out of the reservoir.
The device is equipped with a safety feature to prevent it being turned on without
water. If, by mistake, the device is turned on with little or no water, the safety feature
will activate and the device will turn off automatically. Disconnect the device and leave
to cool. After cooling, refill the reservoir with fresh water and turn the device on.
The same safety feature will activate if there are too many calcium deposits in the
device. If this occurs, empty the reservoir and allow the device to cool. After it cools,
descale the device (see 6.2 „Cleaning and descaling"). After descaling, the device
can be turned on again.
