ATTENTION!
For additional protection from electric shock, it
is reasonable to install a residual current device
(RCD) with nominal operation current not exceed-
ing 30 mA into the kitchen mains; contact a spe-
cialist to install the RCD.

SAFETY MEASURES

Before using the coffee maker, read this instruc-
tion manual carefully and keep it for future refer-
ence. Use the coffee maker for intended purpose
only, as it is stated in this instruction manual.
Mishandling the coffee maker can lead to its
breakage and cause harm to the user or damage
to his/her property.
Always observe the below given main safety mea-
sures when using electric appliances.
Before switching the coffee maker on for the first
time, make sure that the mains voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage specified on the unit body.
The power cord of the coffee maker is
equipped with a "europlug"; plug it into the
socket with a reliable grounding contact.
To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, do
not use adapters for connecting the coffee
maker to the mains.
Place the unit on a flat stable surface away
from heat sources, moisture and direct sun-
light.
Do not switch the coffee maker on if the water
tank is empty.
Before plugging the unit in, make sure that the
operation mode switch is in the position «OFF».

Use only the accessories supplied.
Before switching the coffee maker on, make
sure that all removable parts are installed pro-
perly.
Do not touch the parts of the coffee maker that
get hot during operation.
Be careful to avoid scalding by steam or hot
water.
Use the coffee maker only with the supplied
coffee flask. Do not remove the flask from the
drip tray during coffee making.
Do not use the flask for other purposes, do not
place it on electric and gas cookers and do not
use the flask in microwave ovens.
Do not remove the filter holder during coffee
maker operation.
Do not leave used coffee in the filter, remove it
right after making coffee.
To avoid fire, electric shock or physical inju-
ries, do not immerse the electric cord, the
power plug or the coffee maker body into
water or other liquids.
Do not let the power cord hang from the edge
of the table and touch hot surfaces and sharp
edges of the kitchen furniture.
When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but
not the cord.
Always switch the coffee maker off and unplug
the unit if you are not using it and before clean-
ing.
Let the coffee maker cool down completely
before cleaning it.
Attention! Remove scale depending on the water
hardness. Troubles caused by scale appearing on
the coffee maker parts are not covered by warranty.
Do not use the coffee maker outdoors.
Do not leave and keep the coffee maker in
places with the temperature below 0°C.
Do not leave children unattended to prevent
using the unit as a toy.
For children safety reasons do not leave poly-
ethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyeth-
ylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
This unit is not intended for usage by children
under 8 years of age.
Children aged 8 and over as well as disabled per-
sons can use this unit only under supervision of a
person who is responsible for their safety, if they
are given all the necessary and understandable
instructions concerning the safe usage of the
unit and information about danger that can be
caused by its improper usage.
