Do not remove the filter holder (8) or touch
hot parts of the coffee maker during oper-
ation of the unit.
If the operation mode switch (3) is set to the
position «OFF» during operation, the coffee
maker will be switched off, but excess steam
and drops of condensed water will go out the
cappuccinator pipe (5); to avoid steam or
drops of hot water getting on the furniture sur-
face, direct the pipe (5) to the tray (13).
Be careful and do not place unprotected
parts of the body next to the cappuccina-
tor pipe (5).
To switch the unit to the standby mode (before
frothing milk or between making several por-
tions of coffee), set the switch (3) to the posi-
tion «PAUSE».
Repeated making of coffee or frothing of milk
should be performed with at least 1-2 minute
intervals.
After operation, some water may drip from the
filter holder (8) openings, it is normal.
Control the tray (13) filling, periodically pour
out the liquid from it, wash it and wipe it.

USING THE UNIT

Filling the water tank
Make sure that the power cord plug is not insert-
ed into the mains socket, and the operation
mode switch (3) is set to the position «OFF».
Unscrew the water tank lid (1) by rotating it
counterclockwise.
Fill the flask (12) with required amount of water
(see the scale on the flask).
Pour the water into the tank, set the lid (1) to its
place and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.

MAKING ESPRESSO

Insert the coffee filter (7) into the holder (8)
(pic. 1).
Put ground coffee in the filter (7), slightly tamp it
with the back side of the measuring spoon (14).
Install the filter holder (8) back to its place. To
do this, match the ledges of the holder (8) with
the notches on the coffee maker body (2) by
placing the holder handle (10) as shown on
pic. 2. Then turn the handle (10) to the right as
far as it will go (pic 3)
Cover the flask (12) with the lid (11) and place
it on the tray (13).
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
Switch the coffee maker on by setting the oper-
ation mode switch (3) to the position

the indicator (4) will light up and the heating ele-
ment with be switched on.
When all the water passes through the filter (7),
set the switch (3) to the position «OFF»; if not
all the water is used up, the remaining steam
will go out through the cappuccinator pipe (5).
Unplug the unit.
Remove the flask (12) from the tray (13).
Remove the filter holder (8) from the coffee
maker body by turning it to the left as far as it
will go. Remove the filter (7) from the holder
(8), remove ground coffee remnants and wash
the filter.
Note: To remove ground coffee remnants, hold
the coffee filter (7) with the clamp (9).
How to make good espresso
Use only fresh ground coffee beans intended
for espresso coffee makers. Coffee strength
depends on the quality and grinding degree of
coffee beans.
Slightly tamp the ground coffee with the back
side of the measuring spoon (14).
If coffee pours too slow into the flask (12), this
means the coffee grinding degree is too fine
or it is tamped too tightly.

MAKING CAPPUCCINO

Attention!
Frothed milk is made by steam going out of the
cappuccinator pipe (5).
When steam supply is switched on, some
amount of water may pour out from the cap-
puccinator pipe (5). Be careful to avoid scald-
ing by hot drops of water or steam.
Notes: Before switching the steam supply on,
place a suitable cup under the cappiccinator pipe
(5) to collect possible condensed water coming
out from the pipe (5), and after that set the switch
(3) to the position
for several seconds.
Then set the switch (3) to the position
«PAUSE» and then use the cappuccinator
pipe (5) to froth milk.
Froth the milk in a separate bowl and add it to
the cup with coffee.
Clean the cappuccinator pipe (5) and its tip (6)
right after their use.
Check that there are no dried milk remnants
in the opening of the cappuccinator pipe (5).
Make coffee as it is described in the section
«MAKING ESPRESSO». You may use part of the
,
water to make coffee and the other part to make
