Searching for a desired program type
By specifying the type of program (genre) you w ant to lis-
ten to, the tuner automatically searches for a station w hich
is currently broadcasting a program of the specified type.
Set the reception band to FM . Preset RDS stations w ith the auto preset function.

Select the PTY search mode.

Select the desired program type.
Use program type table on the right for your convenience.

The desired program type can be se-
lected w ith the TUNING keys from 31
types. Press the key and release it w hen
the desired type is displayed.

When an RDS broadcast is received, the program type is show n on
the display. If no PTY data is available, or if the station is not an
RDS station, "NONE" is displayed.
