INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Rem ove all packing m aterials from the oven cavity, (do not rem ove the w aveguide cover, item 11 on
page 4), and the feature sticker from the outside of the door, if there is one. Check the unit for any
dam age such as a m isaligned door, dam aged door seals around the door or dents inside the oven
cavity or on the door. If there is any dam age, please do not operate the oven until it has been checked
by a SERVICE CENTRE APPROVED BY SHARP and repaired, if necessary.
2. Provided accessories include: ––
1) Turntable
2) Turntable support
3) High rack
4) Low rack
5) Operation m anual and cookbook
3. Since the door m ay becom e hot during cooking, and in order to avoid its accidental touch, the oven
should be placed at least 80 cm or m ore above floor. You should also keep children aw ay from the
door to prevent them burning them selves.
4. Ensure that the bottom heater is in the low est position as show n in the OVEN DIAGRAM on page 4
(never touch or m ove the bottom heater w hile it is hot). Then fit the turntable support to the turntable
m otor shaft on the floor of the oven cavity. And place the turntable on the turntable support. M ake
sure the turntable and turntable support are centrally located and locked together. NEVER operate the
oven w ithout the turntable support and turntable.
5. The oven should not be installed in any area w here heat and steam are generated, for exam ple, next
to a conventional oven unit.
The oven should be installed so as not to block ventilation openings.
Allow at least 40 cm on top of the oven for free air space.
6. The A.C. voltage and frequency m ust be single phase 230-240V, 50Hz.
7. WARNING-THIS APPLIANCE M UST BE EARTHED.
If the socket outlet in your house is not com patible w ith the plug supplied, cut-off the m ains plug and
fit an appropriate type, observing the w iring cord below .
If you are unsure how to do this get help from an electrician.
INPORTANT - The w ires in pow er supply cord are coloured in accordance w ith the follow ing code:
As the colours of the w ires in the pow er supply cord of this appliance m ay not correspond w ith the
coloured m arking identifying the term inals in your plug, proceed as follow s:
The w ire w hich is coloured green-and-yellow m ust be connected to the term inal in the plug w hich is
m arked w ith the letter E or by the earth sym bol
The w ire w hich is coloured blue m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith the letter
N or coloured blue.
The w ire w hich is coloured brow n m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith the letter
L or coloured brow n.
NOTE: Under no circum stances should the cut-off plug be inserted into a socket outlet as a serious
electric shock m ay occur.
