2. Disconnect the illuminated red dot cable from the system board.
3. Replace the illuminated red dot cable.

4. Disconnect the illuminated red dot cable from the system board.
5. Complete the replacement. See "Completing the parts replacement" on page 53.

Replacing the advanced speaker

Note: The advanced speaker is optional.
Attention: Do not open the computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding "Read this
first: Important safety information" on page v in this document.
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 27.
2. Remove the storage drive. See "Replacing the storage drive" on page 28.
3. Disconnect the advanced speaker cable from the advanced speaker connector on the system board.
4. Replace the advanced speaker.
