  • Page 4 Setting Up The hosetails supplied need to be fitted securely to the screw fittings to the front of the filter unit. (1) The outlet valve allows the returning clean water to enter the pond from the filter. (2) The inlet valve requires the hose to be connected from the pond pump.
  • Page 5 Filter Foams Inside the filter you will find a layer of two filter foams in the order shown here; black to blue. Always make sure that they are replaced in the same order. There is a plastic tray to the bottom of the unit which protects the biological media and allows drainage of the filter foams.
