3. Select Shared (for Windows 2000 users, select Shared as:),
then enter the Share Name.
4. Click OK.
Note:
❏ Do not select a driver from the Alternate Drivers list.
❏ For Windows 2000 users, do not select a driver from Additional
Drivers list in the Additional Drivers dialog box.
Accessing the printer through a network
To access your printer from other computers on the network,
follow the steps in this section for each computer that will access
the printer.
Note:
Your printer must be set up as a shared resource on the computer to
which it is directly connected before you can access it from another
computer. For instructions, see "Setting up your printer as a shared
printer" on page 7-5.
