Lift the kettle from the power base and then slowly pour the boiling water.
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the product without water, it will stop heating and automatically switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

CLEANING AND DESCALING

Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool
down before cleaning.
Clean the exterior of the kettle and the power base using a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
Clean the interior of the kettle with a soft sponge and warm, soapy water. If your hand
does not fit in the lid opening, swish warm, soapy water around inside the kettle with
the lid closed. Rinse any remaining soapy water from the kettle.
Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then replace
it.
Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Never immerse the kettle and the power base in water.
Regularly descale the kettle using a kettle descaler.
