The screen on the Accu-Chek Compact Plus may not be visible due to the following reasons:

1. The batteries are low or completely drained.
2. The ambient temperature is too low, affecting battery performance.
3. Condensation has affected the internal electronics.
4. The display is defective.
5. The drum compartment cover is not properly closed.

To resolve the issue, replace the batteries with new ones, ensure the device is in an environment between +10 °C and +40 °C, allow it to dry if condensation is present, and check that the drum compartment cover is closed with a click.
