P-2300 IT E OWNER'S MANUAL
Of course Balanced AC Power is only the beginning of a system free of AC noise. Asymmetrical noise, or what is called "differential
mode," is responsible for well over half the noise present in today's AC lines. For this reason we employ our exclusive Linear Filtering
Technology (LiFT). This assures that your audio, video, or computer signals are as pure and uncorrupted as possible.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1.) Symptom: No power to the AC outlets, "Protection OK" indicator is not lit.
Possible Cause: Either the AC outlet to which your Furman conditioner is connected has no AC voltage present, or the unit has been
subjected to a sustained voltage in excess of 800 Volts.
Action Needed: Plug the Furman conditioner into an AC receptacle where a nominal 220-240 VAC is present. If the problem persists,
the protection circuit may be damaged, and require factory service.
2.) Symptom: The Power Switch switches itself off, even with a current load well below 10 amps.
Possible Cause: There's an excess of 5mA of ground leakage to one of the connected components.
Action Needed: Remove one component at a time until you locate the offending unit that will allow the AC switch / breaker to remain
in the "1" or "on" position.
3.) Symptom: Extreme Voltage (EVS) indicator lit.
Possible Cause: Input voltage is above 275 volts causing power to the unit's outlets to be shut down. Additionally, if the voltage is
below 175 volts at turn on, the unit will not allow AC voltage to reach the outlets.
Action Needed: Correct the line voltage, and then turn the Furman conditioner on. If the voltage present is well below 215 VAC, or
above 245 VAC, consider installing a Furman voltage regulator.
