Depending on the adjusted application type, the positioner responds
differently in automatic mode and there are differences in the diag-
nostic functions.
The valve is moved to this valve position as soon as the reference
variable exceeds the limit operating point (Code 49 – h5).
The valve is moved to its fail-safe position (SAFE) when the value
falls below this limit.
The valve remains in its last valid position between the fail-safe posi-
tion limit and the lower test limit. A partial stroke test is performed
after six seconds when the valve is between the upper and lower test
limit.
