- Page 2 QUAD and QUATRO Optical Virtual Converter/Receiver Installation Guide Introduction The purpose of this guide is to enable the successful installation of the Triax TVC 05 QUAD and TVQ 05 QUATRO products. This guide assumes that; The converter is connected to a suitable Triax Passive Optical Network (PON), providing a minimum optical signal levels of -12dBm at the connection point of the converter.

Push the splice tube into the slot on the side of the base then coil the fibre around the base ensu- ring it is inserted in the slot, Covering the splice tube with at least one layer of protected fibre as shown in (Fig.5)
