    Loosen the knob and remove the air filter cover. Remove the foam element and filter screen from the air filter cover. Clean the foam element and filter screen with warm, soapy water. Let the screen and element d completely. Apply a light coat of SAE 30 motor oil to the foam element and squeeze out all excess oil.
