BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

source while replacing the motor. NEVER carry the elevation motor by the harness.
Begin by using a block of wood or something sturdy that can be propped underneath the motor pan.
You will then power down the unit, and unplug from the power source. Next, locate the elevation
harness and unplug from the lower board. Finally, use your screwdriver to remove the grounding wire.
Using your screwdriver, remove both screws as shown in Figure A. Next, use your needle nose pliers
to remove the two elevation pins connecting the nut to the elevation legs. Now use the pliers to
remove the clevis pin, as well as the clevis bolt. A rubber mallet will help you replace the clevis bolt.
You should now be able to completely remove the elevation motor from the unit. To re-install, follow
the directions in reverse. Proceed to the next page for Calibration Instructions.
