6. Installing the blind

Place the spring inside the centre tube of the roller blind aligning the flat edge with the
channel inside. Place the pin end inside the centre tube at the opposite end to the
spring.

Place the blind fully rolled into the brackets. Locate the pin end into bracket B and th
spring end into bracket A.

Pull down a few revolutions to tension the spring. Remove the blind and re-roll by
hand into the fully rolled position. Place the blind back into the brackets.

If the blind does not fully retract, repeat the tensioning procedure.

If the blind does not roll up straight, check the following:
Brackets are level
The sides of the material are cut square and parallel
The top of the material is cut and attached squarely to the roller.
*After some time the spring may need re-tensioning. To do this remove the blind
from the brackets and using a flat ended tool, twist the spring end clockwise until the
blind returns to the desired tension.
Do not oil the ratched spring mechanism.
Care and maintenance
To remove the blind, lift the blind from the brackets.
Warnings
Take care when retracting the blind- the fabric may spring quickly back up.
Keep out of the reach of young children.
Small parts - choking hazard.
