3. Intended use

This product is used to search for hidden metallic parts in the ground. This product is a metal detector, which can
differentiate between ferrous and various non-ferrous metals. The differences between metal types are indicated by
audible signals and on an analogue display. Non-ferrous metals include gold, silver, copper, platinum, aluminium,
lead and zinc. The product can also locate alloys from these materials. The product can search on land as well as
in shallow water. Six 1.5 V batteries are required for operation. For a list of features and functions, see chapter "5.
