Brake Fluid

A satisfactory fluid level should be
between the lower limit (MIN) and the
upper limit (MAX) marks on the wall of
fluid reservoir. If the fluid level is at or
below the lower limit (MIN) mark, it is
necessary to check whether the brake
system pipeline leaks and whether brake
pads are worn.
WARM TIP
Check the fluid level in the fluid reservoir once a month.
The brake fluid should be replaced according to the running time and mileage
specified in the maintenance schedule.
It is recommended to use DOT 4 brake fluid of the same type as BYD's original brake
fluid, because brake fluid of another type is not applicable to the vehicle's brake
system. For brake system and clutch system, the same type of brake fluid should be
used.

Battery

Check the battery once a month to see if
anode and cathode terminals are loose,
if the battery case is damaged or bulged,
and if the battery is securely installed
and fixed.
