The following symbols may appear on your DVD Recorder display:

The following messages may appear in your DVD recorder display:
IS TV ON?
NO SIGNAL
MENU
OPENING
TRAY OPEN
CLOSING
Connection of a digital audio device (amplifier/receiver) using a
coaxial digital cable
Connection of a digital audio device (amplifier/receiver) using a
fiber optic cable
Multifunction display/text line
•) Clock
•) Disc/Title play time
•) OTR time
•) Title name
•) Display of the TV channel number / playing time / function
•) Display of information, warnings
Disc bar: Displays the current position on the disc (disc
pointer).
Record: single flashing segment at the current position.
Pause: flashing segment on both sides of the current position.
Stop: flashing segment at the current position.
A recording (Timer) has been programmed
Modulator is switched off (NAFTA). The antenna signal (RF sig-
nal) is only connected to the TV when the modulator is
switched off.
Component Video output set to "Progressive Scan". If this is
not displayed, the Component Video output is set to "Inter-
laced".
Remote control command has been sent
Second audio program from the tuner is selected (NAFTA)
The DVD recorder is in initial installation mode. Switch the TV
on, then read the paragraph on "Initial installation" in "Installing
your DVD recorder".
No input signal available (signal inadequate or unstable)
The menu on the screen is active
