Starting up the CMP Starting up the CMP After you have hydraulically connected the CMP with the whole plant via the IN/OUT port and have also connected the electric motor and the sensor, the CMP is ready for operation. Start the CMP up by switching the voltage supply on. Look for leaks during operation and eliminate them immediately.
Performing maintenance Performing maintenance WARNING Operating pressure Danger of bodily injury The hydraulic system must be depressurized ► before performing any work on the hydraulic system. The prescribed adjustment, maintenance/servicing and inspection work is to be conducted in accordance with the respective schedules. The Unit is to be disconnected from the power supply and protected against being inadvertently switched back on when performing any maintenance, servicing, inspection or repair work.

Performing maintenance To replace the suction strainer, proceed as follows: 1. Switch the motor-pump group off. 2. Unscrew the screw plugs (1) with a fork wrench ( = 22 mm) by turning it counterclockwise. 3. Remove the strainer insert (3) and clean it. 4.
