The Chance® Electronic Resettable Sectionalizer (CRS)
and Programmable Resettable Sectionalizer (PRS) work in
conjunction with automatic reclosers or reclosing circuit
breakers to isolate a faulted section of a distribution system.
The sectionalizer is a deadline device, it opens only during
the time that the recloser is open. The CRS and PRS can be
manually reset with an adjustable wrench or in the cutout via
the 'in-air' resettable trunnion.
