• When using user-defined, non-standard size paper,
remember to select the appropriate paper type in your
printer driver.
• Heavily printed pages tend to curl and may not stack
correctly. They also tend to stain the back of the page
stacked over them, since they require longer to dry.
Remove these pages as soon as they are output from
the printer. Set them aside to dry singly before
handling them.
Use the printer setting Activate Dry Delay Time to allow
more time between prints to provide more time for
drying. You can find this setting in the "Printer
Monitor" under the "Printer Care" tab.
For optimum printing quality, you should always use
printing media specifically indicated for inkjet printers.
See the Supplies/Options Guide for recommended media
types.
You can insert up to 25 envelopes in the Main Tray or
three envelopes through the Auxiliary Tray. You must use
the Small Format Media Guide when you insert envelopes
in the Main Tray. See "Loading Envelopes or Small Format
Media" (page 2-10).
Coated paper has a very smooth finish on the printing
side. You can insert up to 50 sheets in the Main Tray or 10
sheets through the Auxiliary Tray.
