4 FAQ 4.1 i-Share+ Q1: Precautions for deployment The product installation packages of the master AP and mini AP are not independently released but are released together as a rack package. The rack package upgrade mode is similar to that of the common AP that is, released by the AC. The master AP decompresses the version files and the mini AP is upgrade independently.
The versions of the master AP and the mini AP are inconsistent. As a result, the configurations cannot be normally delivered to the mini AP. Solution: Upgrade the i-Share+ AP to the recommended version. When the i-Share+ version is upgraded, the software versions of the master AP and the mini AP are automatically synchronized.

certain STAs can process the contain packets sent from the non-associated bssid, packet loss or offline state may occur. Therefore, exercise caution when you use this function. Maximum number of contains By default, the device end can contain up to 30 rogue APs. If more than 30 rogue APs need to be contained, the maximum number of contained APs should be increased.

On the root-bridge, run show dot11 ass all to check whether the RSSI is increased. Launch a throughput speed testing as adjusting the antenna direction until it reaches the best performance. If the co-frequency interference exists and the channel needs to be changed, use the 802.11na channels 149, 153, 157, and 161.

bytes). Under 1 Mbit/s transmit rate, the management frames sent by the AP require 675 ms, and occupy nearly 70% of the channels. With other AP-related detection response frames, the management frames occupy nearly 80% of the channels. When the AP replies a detection response frame, the detection response frame and the Authentication frame are considered as management frames and transmitted in the same priority queue.
4.4 BYOD Q1: Can the wireless AC connect to the MAB based on a local account? Answer: Yes, you need to create local credential and the user name and password are c8e0eb75cf94 and c8e0eb75cf94 respectively. Q2: Can the wireless AC in the same SSID implement QR code authentication and then SMS authentication? Answer: No.
Page 13
Q4: Why do I need to shorten the anti-jitter duration to validate the MAB perception-free authentication when both the web-based authentication and MAB authentication are configured? The anti-jitter solution for the web-based authentication is conflict with the MAB perception-free authentication solution. By default, the anti-jitter duration of the web-based authentication is 5 minutes.
the IP address. To address this issue, a function is developed on the wireless device: The STA should obtains the IP address via DHCP server first then AC sends out the Radius-accounting packet. The work principles are as follows: 1. The AC enables the DHCP snooping function. This function is used to detect whether a wireless STA obtains the IP address and corresponding DHCP snooping entry should be generated on AC.

According to the logs of the AP, the AP did not send and Deauth packet. Therefore, the illegal Deauth packets were not sent by this AP. According to the preceding analysis, a rogue AP may send illegal Deauth packets to the normally associated users, as shown in Figure 2.
By surveying the wireless environment of the field, it was found that an AP of another carrier exists close to the test point. The data indicator of this AP quickly blinked, indicating that a large amount of data was transmitted. This AP was considered as the rogue AP.

Use the Mythware software to test the video play, picture play, and PPT slide. The video is played smoothly, the picture play experiences a delay of about 1 second, and PPT slide switching experiences a delay of about 1 second. Disable the multicast optimization function first: The delay of about 1 second occurs in the picture play.

Q13: When the SAM+ System Associates with the AC, an Exception Occurs in the dotx-MAB and Web Authentication Scenario: When the SAM+ system associates with different types of ACs, various exceptions occur, for example, a dotx-MAB authentication exception occurs, IP addresses of STAs fail to be obtained, and the status of online users cannot be updated after they go offline.

2) The difference between the RSSIs tested by a mobile phone or a laptop at the same position can be as high as 15 dBm and the RSSIs tested by different mobile phones are different. In the site survey evaluation, the RSSI tested by a laptop should be better than -55 dB and the RSSI tested by a mobile phone should be better than -70 dB, so as to ensure basic user experience of the mobile phone.

Note: The 144.5 Mbps rate indicates that the laptop works in dual-stream mode; 72.5 Mbps and lower rates indicate that the laptop works in single-stream mode, and the download performance is poorer.
