FITTING BATH SEATS
1.
Firstly, ensure that the base of the bath is free from grease or any form of obstruction .and is
perfectly clean.
2.
Take the bath seat and dampen the four suction pads on the underside of the seat (see fig. 3).
3.
Place the bath seat onto the base of the bath (normally at the opposite end to the taps) with
the slats of the seat traversing the width of the bath.
4.
Push down firmly on the flaps ensuring that all four flaps make full contact with the base of
the bath (see fig. 4)
5.
Check that the bath seat is secure by trying to lift the seat without disengaging the flaps
Always check the tightness of the seat before each use
Always repeat the installation every time the seat is removed
6.
Should you wish to remove the bath seat for any reason, this can
be done by simply lifting the ears of the 4 suction caps (see fig. 5),
this will cause the suction to be released. To refit, repeat the
fitting instructions above.
The bath seat can move sideways until downwards pressure is applied to the seat. It
may, therefore, be advisable to transfer to the bath seat from a bath board.
