The steering rod must lie on the roadway and be able to swivel to the

right and to the left.
To check whether the steering slider is correctly adjusted, place the vehicle
onto a perfectly flat surface, for instance a glass pane or the working board
in a kitchen.

Changing tyres

Model cars need care. It is necessary to change tyres at regular intervals,
depending on the respective mileage of each vehicle. Deficient tyre sculp-
tures lead to traction loss and steering problems. This will be particularly
noticeable in curves and slopes. Therefore, check tyres every now and then!
TIP
Changing tyres is even easier and quicker than in reality. Spare tyres
as well as any other spare parts you might require are available from
FALLER's customer service department. For ease of ordering, always
indicate the ordering number of your vehicle.

Loading rechargeable batteries

To load the rechargeable batteries of your Car System Digital vehicles, only
use the Processor-controlled charging unit (Art. 161349). For all relevant
recommendations and useful tips regarding the battery charging proce-
dure, please refer to the instruction manual supplied with the Processor-
controlled charging unit.
