SYMPTOM
Leak or free fl ow in second stage
Breathing effort is too high
Water enters second stage during
inhalation

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. MP is too high.
2. LP seat (14) is worn or damaged.
3. The crown (15) is not correctly adjusted.
4. The lever (9) is bent.
5. The seat surface (15) is damaged.
6. The lever (9) is adjusted too high.
7. The spring (12) is damaged.
1. MP is too high.
2. The lever (9) is adjusted too low.
3. The MP hose is blocked.
4. The lever (9) is bent.
1. Diaphragm (3) is damaged.
2. The diaphragm (3) is not correctly
positioned between the casing (1) and
the washer (4).
3. The inhalation casing (1) is damaged.
4. The o-ring (17) is damaged.
5. The mouthpiece is cut or torn.
TREATMENT
1. Refer to First Stage Troubleshooting
Guide
2. Replace the seat
3. Readjust the crown
4. Replace the lever
5. Replace the seat
6. Loosen the locknut (11)
7. Replace the spring
1. Readjust the lever and the crown
2. Readjust the lever and the crown
3. Clean or replace the hose
4. Replace the lever
1. Replace the diaphragm
2. Disassemble the casing and refi t the
assembly
3. Replace the inhalation casing
4. Replace the o-ring
5. Replace the mouthpiece
