Section 13 • Instruments Calibration

Remote Capacity

The remote capacity input allows a system controller
(such as a PLC) to control the capacity position during
direct I/O control.
Control Input:
• This dropdown box is not used at this time.
Scale:
• Defines the minimum and maximum Capacity posi-
tion between 0% & 100% for the 4-20ma input.
Offset:
• Used to correct any error in the capacity position. By
entering a value into the Adjustment entry box, that
value will be added to the total offset displayed in the
"total offset" entry box.

Analog Inputs

This section of the Calibration screen allows the operator
to define the parameters of an installed auxiliary analog
instrument. These instruments are usually not part of a
typical compressor set-up but Vission 20/20 provides a
way for the operator to add additional capabilities. The
layout of this screen is typical to the pressure and tem-
perature calibration screens. For Analog Inputs screens,
see Figures 13-6 and 13-7.
Device Calibration:
• These setpoints allow the operator to define what the
input from the auxiliary instrument means in terms
of units and range. If a temperature measuring in-
strument is connected, then the operator would se-
lect temperature from the Unit drop-down box then
set the maximum and minimum value for the scale.
