The Paragon EC7000 Series timer stays in override mode and does not keep time because input power only enables the control to keep time, store programmed information, and carry out instructions, but it does not power the load. To make circuits function properly, power must be provided to the contacts. If the timer is not updating itself, it may be due to a lack of proper power supply to the unit or incorrect programming.
