To make any changes in the settings first wake up the control panel by pushing any button. The controller will light up to its brightest setting when it is activated. AUTO MODE means the Ventis is On and will operate Automatically.
AUTO Mode Increase Set Point Decrease Set Point To Source Humidity Display To Main Menu Change to Flush AUTO indicates that the Fan will activate when a desirable air source (the most suited to achieving your desired temperature set point) is available. The fan and fan speed bar graph will appear when the fan is on along with Heating/Cooling or Ventilating icons show the reason the fan is running.
FLUSH Mode Change to previous source Change to next source To Humidity Display To Main Menu Change to OFF Mode FLUSH will cause the fan to work at full speed for up to two hours. Great for flushing out odours or if there is excess moisture in the home (burnt toast, cooking smells, steam cleaning, etc).
OFF Mode Increase Set Point Decrease Set Point To Humidity Display To Main Menu Change to AUTO Mode indicates the Fan, Auto Whirly and Dampers are disabled. Room temperature and Humidity continue to be displayed. The set Point is displayed and may be changed.

Menus Main Menu The Main Menu is used to gain access to various sub-menus. To get to the main menu simply press button from any main mode screen. • Set modes • Fan Speeds • Filter Details • Settings • Installation The highlighted menu will be selected when the right arrow is pressed.

• Heating Available Maximum Fan Speeds are: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. By pressing the Right Arrow will change the selected item Ventis Recommend 100% fan speed unless otherwise advised by any Ventis service technician. Select item above Select item below...
Settings Menu The Settings Menu is used to set various user preferences: Select item above DSP BRIGHT Select item below Display Brightness is the illumination used Exit to Main Menu when the display is inactive. Depending on the moisture in your room, your environment and the Humidity Set point you have chosen, Drying Mode may significantly reduce the Heating and Cooling benefits of the Ventis system. It should only be used when condensation or moisture is a problem.

Enable Ventilating mode if your room is very stuffy, stale or damp. This mode allows your Ventis to draw in fresh air on a continuous basis with the fan speed automatically varying depending on the temperature set point, room and source air temperatures and humidities.

Circulation Levels LO/ECO/C1 Mode In this mode, the Ventis will only operate when the roof space is at least 2 degrees more desirable than your home but taking your house temperature towards your Set Point (SP). *LO, ECO or 1 depends on which software version you have.
Air Source Displays You can easily see the temperature and relative humidity of your available air sources through the Source Humidity Display. From any main mode screen press the button to reach Humidity Display. HUMIDITY Display The Source Humidity Display shows the relative humidity measured at each available air source.

Dew Point Display The Source Dew Point Display shows the calculated dew point temperature for each available air source. The calculated room dew point is also displayed. All values are in Celsius. Ventis at night. When an Auto Whirly is fitted, it is activated and wired up to your controller by the Ventis Install team, so there is nothing on the control panel that you need to worry about to get it operational. It is fully automatic and will only operate when the roof cavity is too warm to provide any cooling benefit.

Auto Cooler The Auto Cooler is an optional accessory and can be added to your Ventis at any time. The Ventis Auto Cooler has temperature and humidity sensors that operate dampers to choose the best source of air for either cooling or warming your home.
Set your desired temperature from the main AUTO Mode screen by pressing the up and down arrows on the right side of the controller panel. Winter and Summer Operation In winter: Cooling should be disabled In summer: Heating should be disabled.
Only a suitably qualified and competent person may carry out maintenance after the electrical supply has been isolated. Call Ventis on 1800 20 80 20 to organise for your friendly service technician to visit should maintenance or service be required.

Maintenance Continued Controller Reset The GUI (wall controller) may be reset by pressing and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the GUI beeps and the sin-on screen is displayed SD Card The SD card must be fitted for normal operation.
