TX Setup

When Channel Type is "Mixed" (Dual), set to "Analog" or "NXDN" (Digital) for
Transmit Mode.
To set the Transmit Mode
During CHANNEL SETUP, rotate the Selector to select a channel number.

• The transceiver announces the zone number and channel number.
Press the Side 1 or Side 2 button to select the TX Setup Mode.

• The transceiver announces "TX Mode".
• If the Frequency of the currently selected channel is set to "Off", the TX
Setup Mode cannot be selected.
• If the Channel Type is set to "Analog" or "NXDN" (Digital), the TX Setup
Mode cannot be selected.
Press the PTT switch to enter the Transmit Mode Selection.

Press the Side 1 or Side 2 button to select the Transmit Mode.

Press the PTT switch to temporary save the selected Transmit Mode.

• Beep B (2 beeps) will sound.
• Repeat steps 1 to 5 to set up another channel.
Press the Side 1 or Side 2 button to select the Confirmation Setup Mode.

• The transceiver announces "Confirm".
Press the PTT switch to save the settings and return to the ID SETUP/ ZONE

SELECTION.
• Beep B (2 beeps) will sound.
• Turn the transceiver power OFF and then ON return to normal operation
with new settings.
Note:
◆ If no action is performed for 20 seconds, the transceiver will automatically return to
normal operation without changing any settings.
