  • Page 5 The accelerometer is intended to measure the vibration of the rotor for HUMS purposes on three axes: X, Y and Z. It consists of a triaxial piezoelectric element and an electronic charge converter enclosed in a hermetic housing. The output provides a voltage signal proportional to the acceleration for each axis.

    Process: Disconnect the cable of the transducer. Dismount the transducer. Connect the transducer to the CCLD Power Supply cable: For Type 4511-W-006 – , use CCLD Power Supply WB-1372 and the cable supplied with it.   • Page 18: Cleaning, Storage And Transportation

    Section 6 Cleaning, Storage and Transportation Clean the accelerometer with a dry smooth cloth. Store the equipment in a polythene bag, then in a cardboard box. When the unit is packed as above, it must be stored in clean, dry, well-ventilated premises free from corrosive fumes. The temperature should be between –40 to +70°C and relative humidity between 20% and 85%.
