Artificial Mouth
Type 4216
Designed for use in laboratories and for quality
control of electro-acoustic devices where a well
defined sound source is required . The Artificial
Mouth produces a sound field which is practically
the same as the sound field from the human
mouth, and it covers the frequency and pressure
ranges that are normally covered by the human
voice . A built-in precision regulating microphone
can be used in connection with the compressor
input of a B & K Beat Frequency Oscillator for
keeping the sound pressure level constant to
within
±
1 dB in the frequency range 50 to
1 Oooo Hz (c/s) .
