The capacity indicated on the product is the maximum safe working load
WLL that may be attached.
1.
Fix the carry hook (1a) on a fixing point that is sturdy enough to carry the
lifted load.
2.
Set the lever (4) to the neutral position N.
3.
Turn the hand wheel (3) counter clockwise in order to disengage the brake.
This is the freewheel position. Now pull the load chain (5) on the load hook
(1b) to the desired length and fasten the load hook (1b) to the load that has
to be lifted. The load chain (5) can be pulled in both directions. By doing this
the load chain can be slightly tensioned while lashing the load.
4.
Pull the load chain until it is slightly tensioned!
5.
Engage the brake by turning the lever (4) to the position U (for UP).
6.
Turn the hand wheel (3) clockwise in order to tension the load chain. Now the
brake is closed.
7.
Lift the load by operating the lever (6). Make sure the load chain is tensioned
because, when you intend to lift a low load, the gear cannot be moved by the
handle.
8.
For lowering the load, operate the lever to the position D (for DOWN).
9.
Pump the handle (6) up and down until the load is lowered completely.
Hint: If the hoist, which is under load, is suddenly relieved of load pressure while
the load is still lifted, the brake will remain locked. The brake will also lock if the
load hook is pressed/pulled/hit too tightly against the housing.
For releasing the jammed brake turn the lever (4) to the position D (for DOWN).
Operate hand lever with a vigorous stroke downwards. If the brake is jammed or
extremely tight, it can be released by striking the hand lever.
