Configuring a Modbus connection

AO2000 CONTINUOUS GAS ANALYZERS
MENU → Configure → System → Network → Modbus
On the one hand, the gas analyzer can be connected to a network with
Modbus protocol via the RS232 or the RS485 interface and on the other hand
via the Ethernet interface (Modbus via TCP/IP).
NOTE
The menu item Modbus is only displayed if the Modbus module (see page
109) is installed in the gas analyzer.
The gas analyzer supports the Modbus slave protocol with RTU (remote
terminal unit) mode. The Modbus access interval should be > 500 ms.
The Modbus address can be set in the 1 to 255 range.
For Modbus type, select the interface which connects the gas analyzer to
the Modbus network (RS232 or RS485).
The data transfer default settings are shown in the Figure above.
The Modbus map permits an overview of the Modbus Register address.
NOTE
