Exit the Analysis Tool .
• Select [File (F)], and then select the [Exit(X)] from the sub menu . The Analysis Tool screen is closed .

Repeat steps 1 through Step 11 using 4 cm and 6 cm thick PMMA by using the kVp and AEC
exposure settings normally used clinically for 4 and 6 cm compressed breasts respectively .

Assigning the CNR value from the 4 cm exposure a value of 100%, calculate the relative CNR
percentage values for 2 cm and 6 cm and record them on the data form .

• When performing these tests, always wait the same length of time between exposure and processing of the plate . Always
erase the REGIUS plates before running this test .
• Establish a new CNR 4 cm reference value each time this test is performed . Evaluate CNR by establishing a baseline CNR
value from the 4 cm PMMA image and assign 4 cm CNR image a value of 100% .

• The CNR value can be calculated by using a measurement tool of a diagnostic review workstation, instead of using the User
tool of REGIUS Console CS-3/CS-7 . In that case, process the cassettes under the CNR-WS exam tag and send the image
to the diagnostic review workstation .
