system and these services will be available to you for as long
as they are offered on the part of the provider.
Your navigation system will support both free TMC and
PayTMC and will have been preset for the reception of both
services in the status at delivery.
Connecting an additional TMC Dipole Aerial
(optional)
A TMC receiver and an active TMC dipole aerial are already
integrated into your navigation system, to receive traffic in-
formation. However, if the TMC signal is too weak, you have
the possibility to connect an addition TMC dipole antenna:
1. Plug the jack plug of the TMC angled aerial into the ear-
phone connection of
your navigation system.
2. Attach the aerial, on the
edge or your windscreen,
for example, with the help
of the sucker.
3. Place the aerial so that a
distance of approx. 10 cm
from the metal frame of
the screen is maintained.
TMC reception can be improved by different aerial position-
ing, according to the vehicle.
Note
You will also be able to connect the internal aerial to
the optional holding casing with expansion plugs.
Your navigation system will now be able to receive traffic
information through the TMC receiver and thus direct you
away from disruptions to traffic.
