Commissioning

Caution! - WLAN signal is too weak!
If the WLAN signal is too weak at the mounting location planned for the device,
the device cannot be commissioned later.
For more detailed information on possible Wi-Fi errors, see See "Interrupted streaming
(interrupted transmissions)" on page 67.

7.1.1

State of the new device at the point of delivery

NOTE
The name of the device depends on the respective device. It is compiled from
the product name and the first four digits of the MAC address.
In this manual the device name "Radio-43cc" is used, which can also be seen in
the graphics.
Important for you is the name shown on the display of your device.
7.1.2

The device has already been in use in a different network

1. If the device has been in use in a different network, reset it to the factory settings.
2. Press the entire rocker switch for approximately 5 seconds.

Before starting work with a WLAN-capable device, check whether the WLAN
signal is strong enough at the location planned for the installation of the
device.
If in doubt, select a different mounting location.
Commissioning
1. Switch on the mains power supply. If
the state of the device is at the point
of delivery, the display shows a date,
the latest software version and the
serial number. The device will then
switch itself off.
2. Reactivate the device. The display
will show that it is an access point. It
will also show the name of the device
and the WLAN receiving status.
