· Set the main switch to "0", disconnect the power plug
from the household outlet. (Except when
performing maintenance on the air outlet). Wipe it
with a wet cloth soaked in liquid soap. Do not use
paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc., to clean the unit.
Doing so may cause failure, cracking or discoloration
of the main body.

If sparks occur in the ion outlet, the electrode may be
dirty, causing abnormal discharging. In this case, clean
the parts in the ion outlet by the following procedure.
· Switch off the hair dryer and unplug it from the
household outlet before cleaning.
· There is a pin in the ion outlet. Use a cotton swab to
gently wipe the tip portion (about 5 times).
· A thin cotton swab is recommended. A regular
cotton swab may work, but its thick head may be
diffi cult to insert.
· Do not clean or touch parts in the ion outlet with a
hard object, as this may cause deformation,
emission degradation, or other risks.

· Do not try to clean the platinum ion outlet. (It is
strongly advised not to clean here by inserting a
cotton swab.)
Doing so may cause it lose the function of emitting
the platinum ion.
