A. VCV (Varactor Control Voltage)
1. Connect the DC Voltmeter between C414
on the P L L Unit and chassis ground.
2. Set the transceiver to channel 20, close
the P T T switch and adjust transformer
T501 on the VCO Unit for 1.5 ±0.1V on
the Voltmeter. Release the P T T switch.

3. Set the transceiver to channel 159 and
adjust trimmer TC501 on the VCO Unit
for 3.0 ±0.1V on the meter while recei-
ving. Then close the P T T switch and
confirm at least 2.0V on the meter.
4. Set the transceiver to the channel 122
and confirm at least 1.0V while recei-
ving.
