Rehydrate   b y   p lacing   d ried   f oods   i n   a   c ontainer   ( with   e nough   w ater   t o   c over   f ood)   a nd  
 
soaking   f or   3 0   m inutes   t o   2   h ours.   B oiling   w ater   r ehydrates   f oods   m ore   q uickly   t han   c old  
water   o r   w ater   a t   r oom   t emperature.   F ruits   o r   v egetables   m ay   a lso   b e   r ehydrated   i n   l iquids  
other   t han   w ater,   i ncluding   f ruit   j uices,   c ider,   v egetable   j uices,   e tc.  
•   R efrigerate   t hese   f oods   w hile   t hey   a re   s oaking   t o   r educe   a ny   r isk   o f   s poilage.    
•   D o   n ot   a dd   s easonings,   e specially   s alt   o r   s ugar,   d uring   r ehydration   b ecause   t hey   s low   t he  
rehydration   p rocess.
