To reduce the risk of fire, electrical
shock, or injury when using your
refrigerator,
follow basic precautions
including
the following:

using the
refrigerator.

Child entrapment
and suffocation
are not problems
of the past. Junked
or abandoned
refrigerators
are still
dangerous...even
if they will "just
sit
in the garage
a few days!'
If you are getting
rid of your old
refrigerator,
do it safely. Please read
the enclosed
safety
booklet
from
the Association
of Home Appliance
Manufacturers.
Help prevent
accidents.

Never allow children
to operate,
play
with, or crawl inside the refrigerator.
l
Never clean refrigerator
parts with
flammable
fluids.
The fumes can create
a fire hazard
or explosion.

is used only to do what home refrigerators are
designed to do.

is not near an oven, radiator or other heat

is used in an area where the room tempera-
ture will not fall below 55°F (13°C).
l
is not used by anyone unable to operate
it properly.
l
is not loaded with food before it has time to
get properly cold.
