How to set a static IP address with the DHCP Lease This guide will take you through the steps on how to lease an IP address to a device on the network. Once the setup is done, the router will automatically assign that IP address to the specified device whenever it connects to the network.

5. Type in the MAC address of the unit that you want to lease an IP address to. Use a colon (:) as a separator for the MAC address. The example uses 00:FF:75:CF:EF:7B 6. Type in the intended IP address that you want to lease. Ensure that it is within the DHCP range.
