    Welcome to the Brush Wolf family of attach- ments. The Alpha Rotary Brush Cutter is engineered to cut brush and can cut trees up to 10 inches in diameter dependent upon the type of wood and the density of the vegetation.

    30 - 45 GPM (Gallons Per Minute). Any less GPM and the Alpha will not operate at peak proficiency. The Alpha HD is to be used on a skid steer with auxiliary hydraulic flow rated at 23 - 29 GPM (Gallons Per Minute).
  • Page 5 Do Not attempt to straighten blades. Order replacement blades if blades are bent, cracked or damaged. Do Not leave the Brush Wolf unattended while in a raised position. Always make sure both the runners are placed firmly on the ground and shut down the skid steer.

    30 GPM. All Alpha XP units are designed to operate on skid steers rated with auxiliary hydraulic flow of 30 - 45 GPM. Alpha HD is rated for skid steers with auxiliary hydraulics of 23 -29 GPM.

    2. Check all nuts and bolts for proper tightness. See Maintenance Schedule. 3. Every Brush Wolf is tested at the factory and all nuts and bolts have been tightened to specifications. We recommend you check them after the first 4 to 6 hours of operation and at regular intervals as defined in the Maintenance Schedule.

    Shut off the hydraulic power sup- ply and disconnect hydraulic couplers. Do Not loan your Brush Wolf to another skid steer owner. The potential exists for hydraulic contamination and could shorten the life of your skid steer or the hydraulic motor on your Alpha.

    Troubleshooting Note: When performing maintenance, shut down the skid steer and remove all hydraulic hoses from the power source.     Standard Blade Assembly Drop Blade Maintenance - 3 blades 1. Perform maintenance on level surface with the Alpha blocked off the ground. Shut off the hy- draulic power supply and disconnect hydraulic couplers. 2. Tighten bolts of blades every use or every eight hours. Inspect blades.

    1. Remove nuts and washers from plate on the cutter deck to expose access hole. For location of ac- cess hole - reference item #6 on the Parts drawing of the Alpha on page 14. 2. Through the exposed access hole rotate the blade carrier to line up the nut of the blade for access.

Please complete the War- ranty Registration form within 30 days of purchase date to qualify for warranty.

    WARRANTY INFORMATION: The Warranty Claim Form must be completed in full detail and received in good condition. Cross-Tech Manufacturing, Inc. limits its warranty to the hydraulic motor for eighteen months (18), bearing housing and cylinders for a period of one year from the original date of sale. A three (3) year warranty is includ- ed on the structural steel from the date of sale.
