Power supply

The scale is powered by a mains unit or by a rechargeable batterie. The scale works in-
dependently of the mains, which is very handy for mobile use.
The LC display and the evaluation electronics have a low power consumption – 2000
weighing operations can be performed with a fully charged battery. Once battery voltage
is no longer adequate, the battery symbol
that battery power is dropping. If the batterie is not charged, battery voltage will ultimately
not be adequate for error-free measuring. In this case,
weighing is no longer possible.
The rechargeable batterie is charged by
the mains unit supplied. For this purpose,
the mains unit needs to be connected to
the mains for at least 24 hours.
Please use only the mains unit sup-
plied or mains units from the seca
range of accessories. Before plugging
the unit into the socket, check wheth-
er the mains voltage marked on the
mains unit matches local mains volt-
age.
